Let's face it. Most of us regularly spend our weekends sitting in darkened rooms, eating popcorn for nearly two hours, waiting for the hot guy and the cute girl to make out.
We all know they are going to do it, but still the anticipation is almost always worth it. Aahhhh...
So whether it's Leo and Kate, Ewan and Nicole or Heath and Jake, we've all got a favorite movie kiss. So what's yours?
i'm going to have to say the Notebook... because i just saw a clip of Rachel & Ryan reenacting it at the VMAs a few years back... the way she jumps up on him? OH MY! are those two still together? i don't think so. too bad they broke up. their chemistry was so palpable!!
Some Kind of Wonderful has a great kissing scene. Where the tomboy who likes the artist/auto mechanic, who is about to go on a date with a girl "out of his league" she offers to practice with him to see if he can deliver a "kiss that kills"...with the greasy hands gripping tighter she gets really turned on and ends the kiss, even though you want it to go on...you can tell that they will end up together in the end.
I have to go with The Notebook. It reminds my boyfriend and I of our relationship - without the fighting. We broke up when my daughter was a baby and 16 years later, got back together and have been together for almost 3 years now - so definitely The Notebook! :-)
I have never seen The Notebook, but you can't mess with the classics. The whole "first kiss" scene in Romeo and Juliet is amazing. The music, the setting, the tension, it is just raw passion. I loved it! Even now when I hear Desree's "Kissing You" I melt!! ; )
